What is the program like? What will we be doing?
Bruin MindFit is a stress reduction, mindful movement and meditation program. Meditation, breathing (pranayama), yoga, relaxation, walking, and mindfulness will be practiced regularly. The goal of the program is for you to walk away with a daily practice that suits you best.

How much physical activity will be included in the program?
Yoga will be done regularly. The yoga will be suitable for a beginner and/or someone who practices yoga regularly. It will include getting up and down from the floor. You will learn several short sequences that could serve as your daily stress management practice. We will also explore several ways to use walking as a meditation and stress management technique.

Will the meditation require floor sitting?
We will learn several types of meditation. You will always have a chair as an option. When we do meditation on the floor, there will be bolsters, blankets, and blocks available (for in person classes) that help to make floor sitting more comfortable.

Who is going to teach the classes?
Our FitWell Staff of Yoga, Meditation, and Fitness Instructors.
